An exciting opportunity has arisen within Aneurin Bevan University Health Boards Primary Care Contract Team. We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Senior Manager to join our Contracting Team.
As a Senior Primary Care Manager, you will be responsible for managing all contracting aspects and service development.
The post holder will have a sound knowledge of primary care and experience of staff management. You must have the capability to function well as part of a team and be able to work independently. You must have excellent interpersonal skills that will facilitate a flexible approach to problem solving.
Whilst this is a permanent role, applications will be accepted from those individuals who wish to seek a development opportunity via secondment. Please indicate in your supporting information the option you wish to be considered for.

ANALYTICAL AND JUDGEMENT SKILLS
Exercise judgement involving highly complex facts and figures and situations which require the analysis, interpretation, and comparison of a range of options, relating to primary care operational delivery.
Able to analyse and assess conflicting information where expert opinion may differ, or information may not be viable relying on judgment and critical thinking to deliver an appropriate outcome.
Exercise specialist knowledge across a range of managerial work procedures and practices underpinned by theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
Interpret data from independent contractors for a variety of purposes to feed into service development.
Creates reports from internal and external sources, in addition to those provided by the independent contractors, that allow evaluation of Health Board services.
