As a Sr. Principal Engineer Systems Architect, you will lead architecture of next-generation low-power, ML-centric, and connected MCU products. You are a proven technical expert in SoC architecture with subject matter expertise in low power, ML and wireless (BT & Wi-Fi) products. You are proactive with strong balance of technical expertise and excellent communication and documentation skills. Does this sound exciting? If so, please apply today! In your new role you will: Lead architecture of next-generation low-power, ML-centric, connected MCU products Drive product performance, power, and area requirements and analysis from product and system perspective Work closely with product line management and customers to define product requirements and roadmap Support business strategy with technical analysis of new markets and products Establish strategic relationships with customers and vendors Work closely with the Platform architecture team to coordinate Platform roadmap enhancements with product roadmap requirements Work closely with IP teams to coordinate IP roadmap requirements aligned to product roadmap Work closely with software team to guarantee consistent and effective hardware/software interface Guide design teams productizing SoC and IP (design, verification, implementation) Drive continuous improvements of design flows and work methods Contribute new ideas towards patent generation and innovation activities driving differentiated products and solutions You are best equipped for this task if you have: BSEE, MSEE (preferred) 20+ years of experience in SoC and systems architecture Product architecture experience and savvy in technology (40nm and below) Proven track record working with cross functional teams and driving hardware/software/system/features trade-offs Superior analytical, prioritization and decision skills supported by continuous learning High energy and can-do attitude combined with initiative and ability to organize to track and achieve stated goals The CSS division provides end-to-end systems for a connected, secured world – building on trusted, game-changing microcontrollers as well as wireless and security solutions.
