SENIOR/ PRINCIPAL HUMAN FACTORS CONSULTANT

At RPS, a TetraTech company, our Human Factors business is going from strength to strength, and we are now looking to expand the team again and appoint an experienced Senior or Principal Human Factors Consultant to join our Risk team.
As a Senior Human Factors Consultant at RPS you will lead and deliver results on multiple Human Factors projects with a variety of clients, whilst developing strong, long-lasting partnerships.

Responsibilities

You will be scoping and delivering on large, technical, complex Human Factors assessments, that are proportionate and fit for purpose, whilst managing small project teams. A key element of your role will be to enhance the capabilities of the team, through training and mentoring, coupled with providing direction in key technical areas and driving innovation to grow the business.

You will be responsible for supporting the design and case/safety report assessments, undertaking task such as;

  • Operational claim identification and substantiation
  • HF design support
  • HF project integration management
  • HF support on safety assessment
  • Human error identification
  • Application of HF methods
  • Resolution of operational issues
  • Derivation and management of requirements
  • HF verification and validation
  • Application of a modern standard HF techniques and relevant good practice
