We are looking for Senior & Principal Mechanical Engineers with a passion for innovation and problem-solving?
Your role will involve leading complex design processes in the water and wastewater industry, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with stringent design codes.
As a critical team member, you will conduct root cause analysis investigations, provide technical input into project briefs, and oversee the development of new technologies for research projects. Additionally, you will be crucial in establishing a ‘Centre of Excellence’ for engineering and nurturing a sustainable engineering structure from graduates to industry experts.

Responsibilities
  • Be a recognised senior/principal engineer. (Chartered or close to achieving Chartered Status) in Mechanical Engineering with considerable experience in the water industry or a closely related equivalent sector.
  • Be degree qualified or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
  • Have design engineer knowledge at a detailed design level.
  • Provide background on supporting quantity surveyors/cost estimating teams in the scope development for cost modelling and budgetary proposals.
  • Knowledgeable in pumps/pipe systems, sludge, gas/CHP systems, or water/wastewater treatment process equipment.
  • Understand the regulatory environment to achieve compliance with our engineering regulatory requirements.
    Base location: Hybrid – Clearwater Court, you will be required in the office and on-site 2-3 days a week and as the business requires.
    Working hours: 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday.
    It is helpful to have a driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for this role.
