Job Description Due to continued growth in the energy sector, we are expanding our Transmission & Distribution team and are seeking an additional Senior or Principal Primary Engineer to join our Auckland office. How you’ll make a difference Support the delivery of transmission and distribution projects for public and private sector clients throughout NZ and Australia. Act as Design Manager, Technical Lead or Lead Verifier on a range of projects. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to develop innovative, practical engineering solutions while proactively managing client expectations and ensure timely project delivery. Coach and mentor graduates and early-career professionals to strengthen technical capability and support professional development within the team. Qualifications The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered. The qualities that help you thrive A bachelor’s degree in electrical or power systems engineering (or equivalent). A minimum of 10 years’ experience in primary design, including HV underground cable and switchroom design, ideally within New Zealand. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong client relationships and deliver high quality outcomes within tight timeframes.
