Description:
Responsibilities:
When evaluating new investments, you will work as a key member of a small team determining whether the company represents an attractive investment opportunity. Among other things, the analysis of investments includes conducting industry and company due diligence, creating sophisticated financial models, arranging debt financing, negotiating legal documents and preparing written recommendations.
Once a transaction has been completed, you will remain involved with the business, either serving on the board of directors or in a board observer role, and will work with the management team to implement value-enhancing initiatives. You will interact directly with management on various initiatives as required, including with respect to mergers and acquisitions, debt refinancings, and strategic projects.
You play an active role in identifying target investment sectors and generating deal flow. Activities will include conducting desk research, working with consultants, attending conferences and trade shows, networking with management teams and meeting with various industry participants.
