Senior Principal Program Manager Role Overview As a Senior Principal Program Manager, you lead and drive the successful execution of complex semiconductor programs across the full New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle, from concept to production release. You are accountable for delivering products on time, on quality, and on cost, while balancing customer expectations, technical challenges, and business objectives. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-growth and strategic segments such as 48V electrification, a fast-evolving market with strong revenue potential and a key focus for NXP’s future. Key Responsibilities Lead cross-functional teams (R&D, Operations, Marketing, Product Definition, Quality) to deliver programs aligned with customer and business objectives Define, plan, and execute program roadmaps, including milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation Ensure end-to-end program ownership, from concept definition to industrialization and production ramp-up Drive execution discipline through effective planning, tracking, and gate review processes Identify risks early, define mitigation plans, and ensure transparent communication to stakeholders Manage program budget, schedule, and overall performance, contributing to business targets (margin, cost, revenue) Align stakeholders in a matrix organization and drive decision-making at all levels Support product definition in collaboration with marketing and customers, especially for emerging electrification applications (e.g., 48V platforms) Drive and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management practices and optimize end-to-end processes required for new product development, ensuring increased efficiency, quality, and organizational maturity.
