Solidus is searching for a Senior Principal Systems Engineer. This position is located in Aurora, CO and candidates must be able to work on-site
You will expand our Systems Engineering team as the Product Development Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for one of our premier programs in the business unit. In this role, you will be responsible for the IPT’s cost, schedule, and technical performance baseline.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

• US Citizenship and an Active Top Secret Security Clearance
• Willingness to undergo comprehensive background investigation

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
• Experience with Cost Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
• Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment
• Experience with onboarding new work, proposals and/or basis of estimate (BOE) development
• Experience leading cross functional engineering teams with a proven track record
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate with all levels of program, customers, and technical leads (IPTs, chief engineers, architects)

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Risk and Opportunity management
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills
• Experience with satellite command and control and operations domain
• Experience leading major milestone reviews
• Development experience on a government contract
  The salary for this position is estimated to be between $185,000 and $212,000. Customer contractual specifications, relevant work experience, skills, competencies and certifications, clearance status, and benefit selections will influence the final salary.
