ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Our public sector client is seeking the assistance Senior Privacy Analyst, during a period of increase workload. The resource is required to work 7.5 hours/day, 3 days/week.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting and reviewing Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and preliminary risk analyses using the new Treasury Board templates
  • Advising teams on privacy risks and helping them implement smart, practical mitigation strategies
  • Reviewing information-sharing agreements, contracts, and MOUs for privacy considerations
  • Investigating and reporting on privacy breaches
  • Drafting and updating privacy-related policies, frameworks, and training resources
  • Supporting the organization’s readiness for upcoming legislative or policy changes
  • Contributing to Info Source updates, including the development of Personal Information Banks
  • Coordinating consultations with other federal departments and agencies
  • Supporting responses to privacy complaints raised with the Information or Privacy Commissioner
