Description:

You will be a key player in the process engineering team, focusing on designing, developing, and optimizing decarbonization solutions for industrial applications. You will work collaboratively with various departments to execute Fields of Action (FoA) co-creation projects, contributing to the development of a competitive portfolio and leading the energy transition.
WHAT YOU BRING / SKILLS, CAPABILITIES
- Educational Background: University degree in Chemical Engineering (Master/Diploma preferred) or comparable qualification.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in chemical/process engineering, with a strong focus on decarbonization solutions.
- Technical Skills:
o Expertise in developing and reviewing heat and mass balances, P&IDs, PFDs, and equipment data sheets.
o Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen Plus or HYSYS.
o Experience conducting feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and process.
o Hands-on industrial experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector, with knowledge of key processes and technologies.
o Experience in pilot-scale testing and process validation.
- Professional Attributes:
o Proven track record of co-creation with customers or similar collaborative projects.
o High energy, enthusiasm, and a focus on achieving results that benefit the company and the Innovation Center.
o Willingness to take on challenging projects to support the growth of the ICA.
o Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to drive quick results.

Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Lead the development, analysis, and optimization of decarbonization solutions, including feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and process optimization to meet industrial sustainability goals.
- Technical Consultation: Provide expert technical consultation and direction to project teams, particularly in developing and reviewing key design documents such as heat and mass balances, P&IDs, PFDs, and equipment data sheets.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct rigorous testing and validation of process designs, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with industry standards.
- Data Analysis: Analyze experimental and operational data to assess system performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and validate process designs.
- Project Contribution: Actively contribute to focused project teams to support technology and product development objectives, particularly in the area of grid applications.
- Mentorship: Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring their success in tasks and professional growth.
- Collaboration: Foster a collaborative work ethic within the team and the ICA, promoting knowledge sharing and innovation.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with multiple functional groups, including Business Areas and Global Innovation Centers, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
