We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior / Process Development Chemist join the Jurong Pilot Plant (JPP). In this role, you will oversee the Rapid API system and chemistry laboratory functions, enabling the seamless introduction of new processes from R&D into pilot-scale production. You will play a key role in supporting the manufacture of drug substances for clinical, toxicology, and safety trials, as well as evaluating commercial-scale feasibility, identifying scale-up challenges, and driving design-for-manufacture (DFM) opportunities.
This role also includes supporting technical transfers from R&D into manufacturing, maintaining the Rapid API system, and commissioning new laboratory equipment to strengthen site capabilities.

  • PhD or MSc in Synthetic Organic Chemistry.
  • Hands-on experience with programmable laboratory or automated systems.
  • Experience in running and interpreting DoE studies.
  • Knowledge of programming, coding, or automation workflows.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Display high performance behaviours
