CRANSWICK COUNTRY FOODS PREPARED POULTRY IS A SPECIALTY PRODUCER OF DELICIOUS, COOKED POULTRY INGREDIENTS AND IS A LEADING INNOVATOR IN THE INDUSTRY.

The main purpose of the role is to provide site based resource withing the development to own and manage NPD and EPD projects during product launches.

Responsibilities
  • Owns NPD & EPD projects from NPD handover through to launch ensuring products are scaled up effectively to the expectations of our customers.
  • Responsible for documenting and communicating changes to product formulations and processing parameters during the trailing phase.
  • Organise and validate organoleptic shelf life testing, including customer freeze approval.
  • Organise validation of customer cooking instructions.
  • Supports the launch of new products into the factory, attending pre-production and first production runs and leading product handover meetings to operations and ensure all teams are communicated to effectively about product launches.
  • Creation of factory paperwork and QASs, agreeing the standards with NPD/ Technical and Operations teams and tolerances acceptable to enable the product to be consistently replicated.
  • Leads and/or attends site development and stage & gate meetings to ensure the product detail is accurately communicated to stakeholders and highlights any challenges or considerations for recipes through development trials.
  • Supporting operations team with continuous improvement projects by analysing processes and making suggestions on how to improve them, working with the Operations and Supply Chain teams in recognising opportunities, making and implementing changes, and sustaining improvements.
  • Supports the artwork approval process, reviewing artwork versions and feeding back comments to technical.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide development support.
