OVERVIEW
Cornerstone Engineering LTD is a mid-sized engineering and project management company providing professional services to the oil and gas industry in Western Canada. We are presently looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our growing team. If you are someone with 15+ years of process engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, are highly self-motivated, and possess a strong desire to learn and be challenged continually, we want to hear from you.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 15 years of Process Engineering experience.
- Chemical Engineering degree with P.Eng. designation for Alberta.
- Working knowledge of process design software such as Symmetry, HYSIS and ProMax.
- Possess a strong attention to detail and work well within a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to provide mentoring, guidance and delegation of work to team members.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and implement process enhancements using Lean manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize CNC machining processes.
- Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks for process design and layout optimization.
- Lead projects focused on robotics integration and automation within the production line.
- Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Develop training materials and provide guidance to team members on new processes and technologies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure production goals are met.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering.
