SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Dynamics’ engineering capability includes design engineering, process engineering, and automation engineering.
The Process Engineer will perform as part of our process engineering capability. Our process engineering capability works closely with our design engineering resources and automation engineering resources to conceptualize, develop, and test the process technologies that enable our engineering designs to be manufactured in volume by our automation resources.
The Process Engineer will be responsible for advancing performance of prospective and in-market Dynamics Inc. technologies according to valid and sound scientific principles such that test and analysis can be applied to identify regions of the technology design space where Dynamics Inc. can manufacture and improve market-competitive products. Statistical analysis and root cause analysis is included in the capability.
The process engineer will be required to perform quality and qualification testing. This role is also responsible for initiating and integrating quality improvement initiatives into the supply chain to reduce BOM and vendor material costs, reduce supply chain risk and develop new material and material sources.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
· 20+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment specializing in Microelectronics, Electro-Optic Systems or other advanced technology.
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Proficiency in relevant computer applications
· Understanding of root cause analysis and corrective action development
PRIMARY SKILLS
· Ability to identify new vendors both domestically and internationally.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a larger multi-disciplined engineering team
· Ability to work with databases to efficiently store, access, categorize and manipulate large amounts of Data
· Excellent time and project management skills
· Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement
· Experimental design and analysis
· Technical and scientific communication
· Ability to analyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to very complex
· Working knowledge of electronic and optical test equipment
