Learn more at www.lumentum.com Key Responsibilities Provides technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing area. Recommends and implements equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and production yields for existing products. Develops and conducts statistical analysis such as Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) targeting physical cause of failure for yield loss and improving quality. Interacts with product design and development personnel to ensure that processes and designs are compatible. To drive activities in identification and continuous improvement on yield improvement, Bone-piles reduction, and cost reduction. To support problem solving on moderate scope and complexity. To support R&D, PLM, FAE, PE, TE, QE, Supply Chain (WH, IQA, Logistic, BOI, Buyer, Trade and Compliance), Finance, Planning and Manufacturing team to ensure the smooth operation from NPI till Mass Production phase. To Coordinate related task, and engineering changes with internal in house teams and CM teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. At least 5 years’ experience in manufacturing and experience in electronics or optical products. Process expertise and development in Optic Alignment especially die bonder, wire bonder, Lid Seal and Leak Test is preferable. Demonstrate the construction and operation of common electronic and optical components. Familiar with common electronic and optical terminology. Be strong interested in solving difficult problems. Recognize and efficiently fix common electronic and optical component and circuit problems. Strong data analytical skills, Self-motivated, goal oriented, task driven team player. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Thai. Flexibility in work hours to support either early morning or evening conference calls with North America. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and engineering team members. Ability to discern priorities in handling stressful situations.
