Description

Conduct process engineering research, development, and evaluation in support of Lam's cutting-edge semiconductor equipment and systems. Develop and sustain new processes and process improvements to reduce production costs and increase yields. Compile and analyze test data to establish next steps in process development and determine appropriate limits and variables for process specifications. Collaborate internally to plan, collect data, analyze results, and report on customer demos for existing process applications. Contribute to next generation product development by ensuring roadmaps drive differentiated and high value solutions to customer needs. Improves product performance by fostering approaches that are unique and cutting edge. Provide leadership to guide junior engineers on design of experiments, ensuring team is using best methods and metrologies to deliver high ROI solutions to customers. Present to senior management inside and outside of Lam. Minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 12 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience; or equivalent experience. Degree in related scientific field- Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
