Neste Netherlands is part of the Finnish parent company Neste. The plant in Rotterdam produces renewable fuels. Together with 200 colleagues we are working everyday to operate, maintain, and improve the plant in an efficient and safe manner.

THE BEST COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCES, SKILLS AND BACKGROUND IS:

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant engineering discipline;
  • You are an experienced Process Engineer with at least five years of relevant work experience in petrochemical and/or industrial production;
  • Strong and effective stakeholder management and communication;
  • Effective communication skills in English (mandatory) both verbally and in writing. Preferably command of the Dutch language;Experience in Renewable Processes is an advantage.

Responsibilities

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical expert of technology assigned unit;
  • Identify deviations and provide pragmatic solutions in line with guidelines;
  • Ensure to operate assigned unit within environmental boundaries;
  • Unit performance monitoring related to compliance and process safety;
  • Unit performance monitoring related to efficiency (i.e. energy, variable costs and OEE);
  • Initiate and develop improvement ideas in a systematic manner;
  • Shut-down/Start-up support during planned and unplanned events;
  • Reviewer of operational shut-down/ start-up instructions.
