Description

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Master’s degree preferred)

Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering expertise in the Plating, Image/Soldermask, and Mechanical areas, including process recommendation and modification.
  • Mentor and elevate Area Process Engineers by providing guidance, technical support, and performance evaluations.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with Supervisors to address quality-related issues, conducting root cause analysis as needed.
  • Drive productivity, cost reduction, safety enhancements, and waste minimization within designated areas.
  • Conduct process and operator audits to identify and rectify procedural variations, demonstrating attention to detail.
  • Liaise with vendors to address product considerations and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, and Laboratory teams to optimize processes and support manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrate a “Whatever it Takes” mentality to support manufacturing needs, even outside regular working hours.
  • Document procedural enhancements and new process implementations for knowledge transfer to engineers and manufacturing staff.
  • Possess a Science Degree in a related field with extensive industry experience.
  • Interface with CAM, customers, and other engineers to communicate process capabilities and limitations, with a willingness to train in CAM as needed.
  • Provide technical support to production staff and resolve operational issues as they arise.
  • Maintain computer literacy and technical proficiency.
  • Occasionally travel to sister facilities for training and support.
