As a Senior Process and Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing the efficiency, quality, and scalability of our manufacturing processes. You will lead process optimization projects, troubleshoot complex engineering challenges, and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement across our operations. This is a lead position where you will mentor junior engineers, share best practices, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions in our production processes.

Phillips-Medisize Global Innovation Development are growing rapidly and looking for an experienced, proactive and detail-oriented Senior Process and Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects, lead process improvements, and drive the efficiency and scalability of our manufacturing operations.

WHO YOU ARE (BASIC QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related discipline)
  • Working experience as a Process Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer, on a senior or leadership role and medical device experience
  • Proven experience in manufacturing process design, optimization, and troubleshooting
  • Strong proficiency in manufacturing -and continuous improvement techniques
  • In-depth understanding of process control, automation, and industrial technologies
  • Expertise in root cause analysis, failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), and other problem-solving methodologies
  • Exceptional ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams and levels, with experience leading cross-functional projects
  • Hands on experience with planning and estimations manufacturing processes in innovative projects
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations ISO 13485 and 14644, GMP, GAMP, 21CFR and similar is highly preferred
  • Fluent in English - spoken as well as written

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, optimization, and scale-up of manufacturing processes to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high product quality standards
  • Identify, analyze, and eliminate process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and variability across manufacturing operations
  • Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or similar, to enhance process performance and reduce waste
  • Develop, implement, and standardize process controls, process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WI’s) to ensure consistency and quality in production
  • Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting complex process-related issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, quality, R&D) to ensure the successful integration of new technologies, process improvements, and product changes
  • Lead risk assessments and process hazard analyses (PHA), ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), production metrics, and process data to assess and ensure optimal plant performance
  • Drive the implementation of process automation and digitalization strategies to enhance operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making
  • Manage and lead process-related capital projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within estimated hours (budget)
  • Support the development of new products, providing engineering insights into manufacturability, scalability, and process feasibility
  • Lead DFA/DFM input for development team in early stages
