SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER & STRATEGY ANALYST JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior Process Engineer & Strategy Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to blend technical engineering expertise with strategic business analysis to deliver cost-effective solutions for complex client challenges. You’ll lead process design efforts on a wide variety of projects, collaborate with cross-discipline teams, and contribute to the development of high-impact strategies that drive business growth.

SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER & STRATEGY ANALYST POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (required); PE License (preferred)
  • 10+ years of relevant process engineering experience in the oil and gas sector
  • Strong background in gas processing, refining, and/or upstream production processing
  • Proficient in HYSYS and other process simulation/modeling tools
  • In-depth knowledge of oil and gas industry standards and best practices
  • Proven experience delivering feasibility studies, front-end engineering design (FEED), and basic/detailed engineering
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a business-oriented mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Commitment to quality, innovation, responsiveness, and professionalism

Responsibilities
  • Lead process engineering design across all phases, from conceptual to detailed design
  • Prepare key deliverables, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and equipment datasheets
  • Utilize process simulation tools, such as HYSYS, to conduct analysis and validate design assumptions
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-discipline teams to ensure timely and high-quality project deliverables
  • Mentor junior process engineers in developing their technical capabilities
  • Troubleshoot issues during construction, commissioning, and operations, recommending practical and cost-effective engineering solutions
  • Provide input into Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and participate actively in safety review processes
  • Analyze and develop process strategies and economic models for complex, open-ended problems
  • Work directly with clients across technical, business development, and executive levels
