We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our Process Solutions team in Switzerland .

Responsibilities

YOUR MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process design of equipment and units for separation processes, especially for systems with high complexity
  • Technical support to Sales and Applications & Technology engineers in the bidding phase
  • Performance of basic engineering and detailed engineering work (process)
  • Project management with technical and commercial responsibility for engineering projects (e.g. studies)
  • Sizing of process equipment (columns, vessels, heat exchangers, etc)
  • Taking ownership for improvement and development of the technology - in coordination with R&D
  • Responsible for the Sulzer process scope in project teams and towards our clients
  • Support commissioning and optimization of units for thermal separation
  • Participation in technical reviews with clients (P&ID reviews, HAZOP, etc)
  • Lead internal development projects for continuous improvement
  • Know how conservation and documentation maintenance

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • University degree in process or chemical engineering and looking forward to contribute with your talent and engagement to a well-established team of process engineers
  • At least 7 years of experience in process design and knowledge on separation technologies
  • Passion to work in a core discipline of engineering, play a key role in project teams and maintain regular contact to our international client base
  • Enjoy to travel and spend time abroad for meetings and commissioning (global travelling approx. 30%)
  • Fluent in English and preferably in German language
  • You are able to adapt to people in other disciplines and various cultures
  • Your colleagues appreciate your hands-on personality with a passion for engineering works and process design
