Process Excellence (PX) makes this a reality and the Senior Data PX Analyst is critical to bringing a data-driven approach and making this happen. This role sits in our Process Excellence Centre of Excellence and will be responsible for supporting the success of the Process Excellence CoE by incorporating best practice data analytics and management into our approach so we can deliver data-driven process management across the business. Other responsibilities of the role will include.
Analyse common data architecture and proactively identify potential sources of new data and reporting/analytics to enable quantitative definition and improvement of current and future state process design
Collaboratively work with key stakeholders across the CoE and beyond to source, manage, and maintain data sources underpinning process baselining, mining, and design
Ensure data aligns and supports ANZ’s process frameworks and can be used to validate process optimisation recommendations and design
Leverage a wider network of data experts and lead to ensure process considerations are included in decisions and identify potential data opportunities to enable process documentation and mining
Maintain standard data practices aligned to the process governance framework, and enable and build process data capability across the CoE.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Significant understanding of banking data architecture and sources and a clear understanding of the strategic implications of business processes
Detailed knowledge of process data, experience in facilitating process data procurement, triaging and uplifting into process visualization and analytics.
Understanding and experience in data analytics and reporting, particularly about creating data sets and identifying data sources
Sound analytical skills assessing information, drawing conclusions and making recommendations, and experience manipulating and maintaining data in a Finance Services environment
Ability to strategically plan and execute, being able to clearly articulate process implications and design principles
Effective stakeholder management skills and an ability to engage and influence wide audiences
Strong continuous improvement background and proven track record in business consulting or leading process improvement projects
Ability to work autonomously at pace and confidently engage and qualify with Process Owners
