QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in a paper mill manufacturing environment
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with industrial software systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing industrial processes

• Oversee the daily operations of the Paper Mill Prep process
• Ensure Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures are up-to-date and adjusted for new equipment
• Monitor and enforce safety procedures, identify hazards, and recommend improvements
• Analyze quality data to ensure compliance with standards and implement corrective action plans as needed
• Support the training and assessment of Paper Mill Operators
• Maintain and review operational records, including logbooks, test data, and downtime reports
• Assist in optimizing machine operations, logic controls, and production processes
• Develop and maintain centerlines and standard operating procedures for various grades
• Conduct routine equipment checks to ensure optimal functionality
• Assist in planning and execution of maintenance days, shutdowns, and outages
• Contribute to the development of time-based model work orders for maintenance tasks
