An opportunity has become available for a Senior Procurement Advisor in Mango Hill QLD for Downer’s Energy & Utilities business unit reporting to the Commercial Manager. This position will develop networks with subcontractors, suppliers and service providers to ensure quality and competitive inputs are available for proposals and procurement activities including collaborating with the regional procurement hub to leverage Downers buying power. The ideal candidate will envision themselves attending to duties such as:

• Ensure all procurement and contracts are managed in accordance with the Downer Standard, Unity water and legislative requirements including P2P, DFA and payment terms
• Support bid teams in the development of procurement strategies, including assisting with the preparation and review of RFQs as required
• Analyse procurement data to track performance, provide insights, and support decision-making for regional procurement activities

• Identify, manage and report on risks and opportunities associated with procurement activity e.g. cost/schedule/qualityCreate and issue quotation packages of sufficient quality and detail to provide appropriate pricing estimates for tenders and bids
