Te Tūranga – About the role In this role, you’ll partner across the business to deliver high‑quality procurement outcomes covering non‑stock procurement, with a strong emphasis on packaging, consumables, and IT procurement. This is a true caretaker-style role where you’ll hit the ground running, maintain momentum across priority categories, and support the business through a steady pipeline of procurement activity. You’ll manage a range of concurrent projects at varying stages, from simple renewals to full RFX processes, requirements gathering, supplier evaluations, contract negotiation, and contract drafting. This role is hands‑on, delivery‑focused, and perfect for someone who can quickly integrate into a tight‑knit team and keep the wheels turning. The culture is supportive, family‑first & social. What you’ll be doing: Leading non‑stock procurement projects that drive contestability and commercial value Managing RFPs/RFXs, commercial testing of proposals, and handling contract renewals — including agreements valued over $3M Maintaining packaging and consumables categories — including optimisation of slower‑moving lines within the DC Building effective supplier relationships and driving robust commercial outcomes Completing spend analysis and using commercial insights to recommend optimal solutions Drafting agreements, SoWs, and ensuring procurement processes are followed and closed out appropriately Supporting ongoing process improvement within the packaging category He kōrero mōu – About you This role requires a commercially savvy and analytical procurement professional with strong experience across indirect procurement, ideally IT procurement. You will be adept at navigating complex agreements, negotiating strategically, and building strong relationships through clear and effective communication. Curious and proactive by nature, you will be comfortable managing changing workloads and operating with minimal onboarding, hitting the ground running from day one. Experience in packaging or consumables procurement would be an added advantage.
