Job Description

As Senior Procurement Category Manager, you will lead and manage all aspects of the procurement lifecycle across identified spend categories. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead category strategy development, spend analysis, market research and implementation of comprehensive category plans
  • Analyse supplier agreements, negotiate optimal commercial outcomes, and ensure value delivery
  • Prepare and maintain contract specifications and business requirements
  • Develop and implement contract management protocols with stakeholders
  • Oversee the full purchase-to-pay (P2P) process, ensuring policy compliance and reporting on savings and benefits
  • Implement NRMA’s Modern Slavery, RAP, and ESG strategies in supplier engagements
  • Lead stakeholder engagement to ensure procurement strategies align with business needs
  • Continuously seek opportunities for improvement, simplification, and standardisation across supplier engagements
  • Mentor and lead junior team members, supporting their development
