As a Senior Procurement Category Manager Plastics (m/f/d) you will report to Head of Plastics in the Sourcing department based in Blieskastel, Obernai, Frankfurt or Karlsruhe for a permanent contract.

What you will do?

• Develop and implement a sourcing strategy for plastic raw materials that supports the company’s supply chain.
• Manage policies and processes for purchasing the raw materials needed for manufacturing products, research, or other business activities.
• Monitor and analyze the raw materials market, global economic conditions, and events to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Focus on risk: Identify, evaluate, and monitor suppliers and develop relationships to ensure reliable supply and guarantee the quality and availability of necessary raw materials.
• Oversee tenders and contract negotiations to secure the best prices to meet raw material needs.
• Strategic support of our main internal stakeholders to ensure our inventory levels targets and manufacturing needs.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards governing the purchase and delivery of goods.
