Managing the supply chain. ensuring that goods and services are procured efficiently and delivered on-time to support the organization’s operations and strategic goals Investigate relevant suppliers and submit Request for Quote through procurement software and where required negotiate with external stakeholders Coordinate purchase orders in ORACLE and ensure company procedure guidelines are followed for the complete order cycle Foster alternate supply channels to mitigate risks associated with single source dependencies Administer the received quotes in purchasing software and expedite at discetion Issue Purchase Orders-Oversee the processing of purchase orders and ensure strict compliance with company policies and procedures in a timely manner The skills you will bring to our team Minimum of 3 years experience in the role as Procurement Coordinator or similar role Sound understanding of computer software systems – relating to ship purchases (i.e. – Shipsure, SAP/Oracle, etc.) Ability to Learn Adaptability Attention to detail Collaboration Communication (oral and written) Customer Focus Why CSL?
