Sr. Procurement Executive About us： The Procurement team manage and develop our Development and Manufacturing Partners from contractual and business perspective with engagement and support from cross-functional teams and key stakeholders Responsibilities This is an individual contributor role where you will be seen as a subject matter expert, sought out across the business from stakeholders & project for your expert knowledge. The projects and problem-solving activities you will be involved in will often be complex and time sensitive, requiring strong decision-making skills and the ability to see solutions where others may not. You need support supplier activities include T1 outsourcing & T2 component supplier across functional teams to ensure smooth operations with our manufacturing partners. Key liaison and PIC (person in charge) to manage the relationship between Dyson and with the assigned suppliers Drive cost improvement with the suppliers in FG & component level, and enhance the competition in product level Manage, communicate, and drive regular and / or ad-hoc internal meetings and discussions with Operations, Commercial, Finance, Engineering, Project and Technical teams and ensure objectives are achieved that are in line with Dyson’s Company’s best interests Proactively provide advice to the cross-function team and proper business &operational decisions can be made Provide guidance to both internal and external parties in achieving targets relating to Dyson Commercial Drive design to cost – looking to achieve the optimal technology at the optimal cost, have a strong sense of “should cost”. Lead cost down activities with internal and external engagement. Lead supplier scouting and technology scouting for assigned categories or areas. Key deliverables Driving cost negotiations/improvement on product cost, cost savings per contract, cost optimizations, and able to deliver a good result of cost savings vs target. Tasks, issues, claims, communications are completed within the given timeframe, while achieving the objectives Management of both external and internal relationships, feedback the market trend/technology upgrade and optimize the cost structure with smart design Team player with motivation and willingness to go above and beyond your scope of work About you Commercial background within a Manufacturing/ Engineering environment Have knowledge & experiences in Electronics or Home Appliance industry and be familiar with EE, ME components. Understanding and experience of Global procurement & legal regulations Excellent communicator; able to present update and challengers in a clear and concise manner. In a spoken, written, and presentation setting Capable in planning and project management Comfortable with a fast-paced and intellectually challenging work environment, being resilient and able to handle pressure Dyson is an equal opportunity employer.
