SUMMARY:

Lead procurement of solar panels and wind turbines for utility-scale projects. Responsible for strategy development, supplier management, contract negotiations, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality equipment to support a growing renewable pipeline. Remote (US-based) candidates considered.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of utility-scale solar, wind, and storage markets a plus.
• Strong negotiation, project management, and analytical skills.
• Experience with large-scale renewable projects and complex contracts.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, commodity management, and contract negotiations, with direct solar/wind procurement experience.
• Effective communicator with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business (preferred).

• Negotiate contracts covering scope, pricing, terms, delivery, and change management.
• Build and manage supplier relationships, run competitive RFPs, and maintain supplier scorecards.
• Drive initiatives to reduce costs and improve delivery performance, safety, and quality.
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, legal, construction, O&M, etc.) to align procurement with project needs.
• Develop and execute multi-year procurement strategies for solar, wind, and storage equipment.
• Analyze cost proposals, track variances, and standardize cost reporting.
• Monitor technology trends, policies, and supply chain risks; adjust strategies accordingly.
