We are looking for an experienced and proven negotiator to join our global Procurement team. This is an opportunity for someone to expand their negotiation skills to a global reach and have a direct impact both on the contracting done as well as the processes followed by the team. We are seeking a talented collaborator who is ambitious, has strong negotiating skills and experience across a range of categories, embodies a strong individual contributor working style and can drive cross-functional complex projects to completion in a timely fashion. Ideal candidates will be able to manage up and cross-functionally. This role requires the ability to influence and coordinate across various teams, even without direct management authority.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Procurement, especially indirect Procurement, 10-15 years total experience preferred
  • Proven experience with software procurement (SaaS) and contingent labor/ services
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and executing RFP’s and conducting tactical negotiations, including reviewing contracts, commercial terms, and creating deal point strategy across IT/ Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Operations.
  • Experience in a global organization managing across geographies and business units preferred
  • Experience with AI tool procurement preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving, organizational, project and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to manage cross-functionally
  • Ability to build relationships both internally and externally
  • Competencies: Strategic thinking, leadership, curiosity, teamwork.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of $50-100 million in annual spend
  • Concurrently lead negotiations on an average of 40-50 projects to meet business objective deadlines to secure advantageous commercial terms
  • Manage contract lifecycle for assigned agreements, including managing and monitoring business requirements, securing functional approvals and securing contract signatures
  • Run quarterly business reviews with 10-15 senior leaders within the company to “manage” both up and across
  • Build close relationships with legal and compliance leads to expedite approvals
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers, including 10-15 key suppliers including running quarterly business reviews
  • Manage and drive procurement practices consistently throughout the company
