SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the field of Procurement Executive, Purchasing Officer, or similar role.
  • Preferred industry from Real estate, Contracting, Fit-out, Construction
  • Ability to negotiate prices, contract terms, and deadlines with suppliers and contractors.
  • Understanding of construction materials, industry-specific requirements, and the regulatory environment in real estate development.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and oversee the procurement process to align with the overall project timeline.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per mont
Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers and contractors for construction materials, equipment, and services (e.g., landscaping, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
  • Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with vendors and service providers.
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers and contractors for future collaboration.
  • Work within the project’s budget by sourcing the best deals without compromising on quality.
  • Track expenditures to ensure procurement activities stay within budget.
  • Analyze market trends and prices to find cost-effective procurement solutions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to determine material and service needs for the project.
  • Develop procurement schedules to ensure materials and services are available when needed, avoiding delays.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring they align with project timelines and quality standards.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor and enforce contract terms and conditions.
  • Ensure that all materials, equipment, and services meet the project’s quality standards and specifications.
  • Coordinate with quality control teams to inspect and verify the quality of procured items.
  • Monitor and track the delivery of materials to the construction site.
  • Ensure efficient inventory management to prevent overstocking or stockouts, and maintain a steady flow of necessary materials.
  • Identify potential risks related to procurement, such as supply chain delays or price fluctuations, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Maintain contingency plans in case of delivery issues or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Keep accurate records of procurement transactions, including contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and payment receipts.
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on procurement activities, budgets, and project status.
