Your goal As a Cost Manager, your mission is to lead and optimize product cost management across new product development and mass production, ensuring cost competitiveness and supporting Bugaboo’s business growth and profitability. You will be part of the procurement team and report to the sourcing cost control manager. What will you do Lead cost estimation and management throughout the new product development (NPD) lifecycle Analyze cost variations driven by design or specification changes to ensure cost control and transparency Collaborate closely with Engineering, Sourcing, Product Management, and Project teams to meet cost targets Drive cost reduction initiatives in mass production and track implementation results Monitor and analyze product cost structures, identify saving opportunities, and maintain cost databases Conduct market and competitor cost analysis, including raw materials, technologies, and supply chain strategies Develop and optimize cost models, tools, and standardized processes across the organization Provide cost-related insights, training, and guidance to enhance organizational cost awareness What you will bring At least 5 years of experience in cost analysis or cost control in a manufacturing environment Solid experience in both NPD cost management and mass production cost optimization Strong understanding of product cost structures, including materials and processes Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and PowerPoint Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and deliver measurable cost improvements Strong analytical thinking with a data-driven mindset Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Fluent in English (spoken and written) in an international working environment And last but not least: You live our core values — ownership, collaboration, transparency, and simplicity.
