Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, supplier performance, and overall value. Conduct market research and supplier assessments to identify potential vendors, evaluate market trends, and secure competitive commercial terms. Manage and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, service levels, and company requirements. Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, from purchase requisition and supplier sourcing through purchase order issuance and order fulfilment. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure procurement activities are aligned with operational and strategic objectives. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, applicable regulations, internal controls, and industry best practices. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while continuously improving procurement processes and operational efficiency. Utilize procurement tools and ERP systems to manage purchasing activities, maintain accurate records, and monitor procurement performance. Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, and industry developments to identify opportunities, mitigate procurement risks, and maintain competitive sourcing practices. Support supplier performance evaluation and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure quality, reliability, and value for money.

Desired Candidate Profile

CIPS certification is preferred. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field. 5+ years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within the IT industry. Proven experience in supplier sourcing, negotiation, vendor management, and contract management. Strong knowledge of procurement strategies, contract management, supplier evaluation, and procurement risk assessment. Hands-on experience with ERP procurement systems, with Odoo ERP experience being highly preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and priorities in a fast-paced business environment.
