Description
Product Analyst Job Description We’re looking for a Product Analyst who turns customer behaviour into better product decisions. This role focuses on understanding how users engage, where they drop off, and what drives retention and revenue. You will partner with Product, Data, Engineering and Business teams to ensure we build what truly moves the needle — not just what’s requested. Location & Compensation - Location: KLCC (Hybrid) - Compensation: RM 8,000-14,000 Basic + Benefits Why You Should Apply - Join a digital transformation team with no legacy technology maintenance. - Work in a modern engineering culture that incorporates new AI tools. - Enjoy job security as part of an international financial services company regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia. - Influence product decisions by analyzing customer behavior, understanding user engagement, identifying drop-off points, and uncovering drivers of retention and revenue. - Turn ambiguity into actionable steps and recommendations, and see the direct impact of your work by spotting hidden trends. What You Will Do - Partner with Product, Data, and Business teams to ensure development focuses on impactful initiatives, moving beyond “what happened” to “why it happened and what we should do next.” - Define and track key product metrics to identify growth opportunities, including activation, engagement, retention, and monetization. - Translate data into clear recommendations for roadmap prioritization and informed decision-making. - Ensure product features align with user needs, optimize product strategy, and improve user experience. What You Will Need - Experience in Data Analytics, Product Analyst, or as a data-driven product owner. - 5-10 years of relevant experience in a mid to senior level capacity (this role does not involve team leadership). - Proficiency in SQL, especially with large data sets. - Ability to translate customer analytics into Tableau or other data visualization tools. - Familiarity with experimentation concepts, including A/B testing, hypothesis design, and interpreting results. - Background in fintech, tech companies, product companies, or startups/scale-ups, with a focus on building new enterprise-ready solutions or rolling out new features. About the Company & Team - The Malaysian team and product suite are less than 5 years old but are part of a globally established fintech and financial services company operating in 15 countries. - The company is regulated under Bank Negara Malaysia, ensuring a highly regulated and financially secure environment. - All products are built in-house, with no reliance on vendors, allowing for the execution of long-term initiatives with internal technical capabilities. How to Apply - Click the “apply” button to submit your application. - You may submit an updated CV or simply share your LinkedIn profile. - The recruiter is available to provide more information before you proceed. Additional Notes - Employment passes, work visas, or relocation support are not provided. - Only candidates with work rights in Malaysia will be considered. - This role is not suitable for fresh graduates; 4-8+ years of relevant experience is required.
