JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Product Analyst contributes to the business strategy by supporting tactics for product development and to acquire/retain business for their specific product group. The Senior Product Analyst offers advice, recommendations, solutions and consulting at a broad functional level across product management accountabilities based on reporting and analysis.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Undergraduate degree or product management certificate and/or
- 5+ years of relevant experience (channel/distribution, finance, control partners, technology)
- Proficient knowledge of and ability to conduct product research, product analysis and development, forecasting, pricing, competitive intelligence
- Expert level professional role requiring in-depth knowledge/expertise in own domain/field of specialty and working knowledge of broader related areas
- Integrates the broader organizational context into advice and solutions within own area
- Knowledge of current and emerging competitor and market trends
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships
- Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently
- Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
- Skill in using analytical software tools, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
- Skill in using computer applications including MS Office
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Analytical Reporting skills utilizing Encompass & Excel
- Experience interfacing with Data Analysis teams
- Powerpoint: Experience translating data into a presentable format
- Experience supporting product initiatives led by various Product Managers as well as leading own projects.
