Description

You won’t just launch products — you’ll redefine how people experience health, joy, and indulgence. As our Senior Product & Commercialization Manager, you’ll transform functional chocolate from a niche curiosity into a movement that reshapes grocery aisles and lives.
This is your chance to feel the rush of seeing your vision claim shelf space, spark loyalty, and turn moments of indulgence into acts of wellness. Every decision you make — from flavors to packs to the systems behind them — will ripple outward, building trust, excitement, and repeat joy at scale.
You’ll look back and know you set a new standard for what functional snacking can be. That you gave people the gift of choosing delight and health in the same bite. That you took a category once overlooked and made it a household name. Years from now, you’ll see shelves full of your work and know you sparked a movement.
Your next 5 minutes could land you in our top 5% shortlist — click Apply to start your application (a short, simple step to put you in the running).

Role Snapshot

  • Pay: $120,000 to $155,000
  • Location/Schedule: U.S.-based; hybrid/remote; travel 30–50%
  • Purpose: Scale functional chocolate from niche to mainstream by driving commercialization, retail distribution, and consumer pull.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end commercialization: product vision through scale-up and activation.
  • Build a national grocery distribution plan with top banners and regionals.
  • Secure authorizations and placements through buyer and broker relationships.
  • Design product line architecture — flavors, formats, packs, and pricing.
  • Manage co-manufacturers, QA, compliance, and supply capacity.
  • Own SKU/retailer-level P&L with trade, retail media, and contribution targets.
  • Engineer velocity through activation, promotions, and shopper marketing.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years in CPG with grocery retail launches.
  • Proven wins with national and regional banners.
  • Broker/distributor management (UNFI/KeHE, Acosta, Advantage).
  • Fluency with syndicated data tools (Circana, NielsenIQ, SPINS).
  • Co-manufacturing oversight and regulatory/claims compliance.
  • Ownership of SKU-level P&L and trade architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Big Food training paired with challenger-brand scrappiness.
  • Confectionery/snack experience, especially functional or wellness-focused.
  • Club channel launches and seasonal/limited programs.
  • Success bridging DTC growth into retail velocity.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation, bonus, and equity.
  • Relocation assistance considered.
  • High-visibility role shaping the future of functional snacking.

Honest Challenge
This is a demanding commercialization role where success is measured by speed-to-shelf, velocity lifts, and profitable growth. It requires grit, discipline, and resilience across retail, supply, and financial realities.
