QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong background in Design Engineering, Machine Design, and Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong understanding of engineering documentation, quality management systems, and document control processes.
  • Proficiency in Product Design and CAD software (preferably Fusion 360)
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and solid project management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Previous experience in electric mobility, automotive, or related industries
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Bonus: MBA or background in business development, entrepreneurship, or marketing

Responsibilities

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Design Engineer/Product Manager based in Burnaby, BC. The role involves designing and developing new products, improving existing designs, and using computer-aided design (CAD) tools. Manufacturing and international vendor managemnt. The position also involves coordinating with different teams to ensure product quality, and managing projects from concept to production. This role involves with product management beyond engineering design including market research and product positioning, marketing, logistics, revenue managment, customers experience and beyond.
