EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven experience in innovation-led design engineering
  • Strong understanding of industrial design development processes
  • Strategic, multi-disciplinary design thinking – from Industrial Design (ID) to Interaction Design

TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL / LEADERSHIP SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Proficiency in creating 2D and 3D visual assets using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, KeyShot, and photography-based media
  • Advanced 3D modelling capabilities (e.g. Rhino, Siemens NX)
  • Strong visual communication skills to influence diverse internal and external collaborators
  • Effective collaboration and co-creation skills with multidisciplinary teams, including designers, engineers, and project leads

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s or master’s Degree qualification in a relevant design area, such as industrial design, and relevant industry experience.
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

This role is part of a cross-functional team within the New Categories R&D department, focusing on advanced design strategy across multiple product categories. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Industrial Design (ID), Colour Material Design (CMD), User Experience (UX), and Branding teams to enhance total product experience and define the experience identity of future devices from a creative and strategic perspective.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Develop and implement experience design strategies across product categories
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build future product concepts
  • Identify emerging technologies and translate them into design opportunities
  • Deliver high-quality visual and conceptual assets to communicate design intent
  • Support innovation planning aligned with consumer trends and strategic roadmap
