Description

We're seeking a highly-skilled Senior Product Designer to shape PandaDoc's CLM offering from the ground up. An ideal candidate should be able to balance simplicity with depth, creating consumer-grade experiences that make contract management effortless for SMBs while laying the foundation for more sophisticated use cases. Your end-to-end design process and hypothesis-based approach will shape intuitive, AI-native contract management experiences that compete with enterprise players on simplicity and speed-to-value. In this role, you will: Design and implement innovative CLM solutions focused on AI-native interactions, progressive onboarding, and setup-free experiences that drive adoption and retention; Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, AI teams, Research, and Data to deliver high-impact outcomes across metadata extraction, repository, and intelligent automation features; Conduct extensive research and data analysis to understand SMB contract management behaviors, pain points, and barriers to adoption—translating insights into actionable design opportunities; Develop and iterate on designs and prototypes that effectively communicate AI-powered features, conversational interfaces, and proactive intelligence concepts; Work with product management to develop and test hypotheses around progressive disclosure, sane defaults, and opinionated suggestions using both quantitative and qualitative methods; Partner with Customer Advisory Board members and conduct rapid validation cycles to ensure we're achieving measurable adoption and engagement outcomes with each release; Advocate for best practices in design, usability, and accessibility, ensuring a consistent and user-centric approach across all CLM touchpoints while maintaining PandaDoc's consumer-grade quality bar. About you: 5+ years of experience in product design, with demonstrated experience designing complex B2B SaaS workflows or document management systems; Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, thought process, business impact, and ability to simplify complexity—particularly around data-heavy or AI-powered features; Capable of driving vision and change in emerging product areas with ambiguous requirements; Skilled at designing setup-free and progressively disclosed experiences that reduce cognitive load and avoid the "blank canvas problem"; Experience designing AI-native or conversational interfaces is highly valued; Expertise in designing and prototyping in Figma, with strong interaction design and systems thinking skills; Excellent English communication (minimum C1) and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across time zones; A growth mindset with relentless focus on user needs, business outcomes, and commitment to continuous improvement through rapid iteration and validation.
