Join our Compliance team as the design owner for Financial Reporting (IFRS 2, US GAAP) and Tax products. You'll translate complex regulatory requirements into intuitive experiences for accountants, auditors, and finance professionals at high-growth European companies. You'll start by working closely with a PM, engineering team, and in-house Financial Reporting SME. As we scale, your scope will expand across additional compliance domains, including design ownership for Tax and working with a second PM and engineering team. At Ledgy you will: Develop a deep understanding of our customers: accountants, auditors, finance professionals. Learn about their pains and jobs-to-be-done Own end-to-end UX for grids, formulas, regulatory reports, and multi-step compliance workflows Balance functional accuracy with usability - our users are sophisticated professionals who value precision over oversimplification Partner with Financial Reporting and Tax SMEs to understand accounting concepts, regulations, and user needs Bridge the gap between technical compliance requirements and intuitive product design Conduct research with accountants, auditors, and finance teams Explore AI and automation to make reporting more accurate and efficient Prototype and experiment with new interaction patterns for compliance workflows Contribute to our design system for compliance-specific components Contribute to our design system for compliance-specific components Work as a peer with your PMs to shape product vision and prioritize features across both Financial Reporting and Tax Collaborate with designers on Trading, Foundations, and Platform teams Manage stakeholder expectations across SMEs, PMs, and engineering teams Drive product launches through cross-functional work with Product Marketing and go-to-market teams In the first 30 days: Be paired with an onboarding buddy who will introduce you to equity management and financial reporting Get to know the Financial Reporting team: your PM partner, engineering team, designers, and domain expert Understand how our reporting features integrate with the broader Ledgy platform Start contributing to design critiques and roadmap discussions In the first 60 days: Independently contribute to Financial Reporting feature designs and improvements Take ownership of key features and initiatives from a design perspective Develop a deep understanding of the regulatory and business requirements our customers face Lead design reviews and collaborate on design specifications In the first 90 days: Help shape the design vision for our reporting offering and the compliance pillar Expand to take on design ownership for Tax, working with a second PM and engineering team Drive the evolution of our reporting platform to support enterprise-scale customers The job is a great fit if you: Have 5-8+ years experience in Product Design building B2B SaaS products Have experience designing reporting, analytics, or accounting products with focus on automation and user experience Understand financial systems, data analytics, reporting platforms, and/or compliance frameworks (e.g. IFRS, US GAAP) from a design perspective Are a fast learner who enjoys diving into complex regulatory and financial topics Have strong accountability, ownership and solution focus Break down silos and work collaboratively in a result-oriented way with your PM partners and broader teams Have excellent communication and storytelling skills; fluent in English Have a strong portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving and end-to-end design process Nice to Haves: Prior experience with equity management, financial products, compliance frameworks, or accounting software Experience with compliance frameworks (IFRS/GAAP, tax compliance reporting) from a UX perspective Background in financial services, fintech, or accounting software Experience designing business intelligence tools or data visualisation platforms Knowledge of audit processes and controls Actively use AI in your design workflow (prototyping, exploration, automation) Comfortable with prototyping tools, potentially hands-on with code (HTML/CSS/JS) Built side projects or prototyped with AI tools Note: You don't need to be an AI-compliance expert (this domain is still catching up!), but you should be naturally curious and excited about what's possible.
