Experience Requirements & Role Expectations: 6+ years of full-time experience as a product designer for digital or web-based products; in-house experience highly preferred. Create visually stunning, intuitive, and delightful interfaces, and independently deliver pixel-perfect UI and seamless interactions. You sweat the details and care deeply about craft. Proficient in both quantitative and qualitative research, with hands-on experience running user interviews, synthesizing findings, and generating actionable insights to inform design decisions. Take full ownership of the design process for a dedicated scrum, from discovery to delivery. You’ll set the design vision, define the user experience, and ensure high-quality execution. Partner with Product managers to shape product vision and roadmap. You’ll use data, research, and business context to inform your design decisions, always balancing user needs with business goals. Has experience of managing multiple stakeholders within an agile development process Strong communicator who can articulate design rationale, influence stakeholders, and build trust across disciplines. A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your design thinking, process, and solutions showcasing beautiful, user-centered web and mobile product design. The ideal candidate will also have: Intermediate to advanced Japanese language skills, including ability to read Japanese Previous experience working for an Online Travel Agency Experience conducting research within the Japan market with an understanding of the cultural nuances, and ability to analyze user insights that lead to product decisions.
