About the job
The Senior Product Designer is responsible for the end-to-end design of our digital mental health products. They are comfortable working on complex briefs and crafting thoughtful and accessible designs that put the user at the centre of the experience. This Senior Product Designer will be primarily focussed on the MOST product, our flagship service currently rolling out to young people across Australia.

Reporting to the Design Lead you will:

• Lead and deliver user-centred product design from discovery research through to production-ready solutions, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and youth participation teams to design, test, and iterate solutions that balance quality, speed, and user needs.
• Advocate for users by applying qualitative and quantitative insights to guide design decisions and strategic product direction.
• Maintain and evolve the design system, uphold design principles, and contribute to peer-review and quality-assurance processes.
• Contribute to team leadership through mentoring, onboarding, and fostering a collaborative, high-impact design culture.

Skills and experience

The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:

• Previous experience with digital product design and strong visual design and user interface skills.
• Extensive experience as a product or interaction designer with a proven ability to solve complex design problems and deliver high-quality, user-centred digital products.
• Proficient in accessibility, inclusive design, and industry-standard design tools, with strong visual, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Skilled in iterative design within agile environments, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and guiding stakeholders at all levels.
• Desirable: experience in startups, healthcare, education, or social media, with tools like Figma, Dovetail, Miro, Jira, and Confluence; growth mindset and strong attention to detail.
