We are looking for a talented digital Senior Product Designer to join our Financial Services team. Your primary focus will involve collaborating to create exceptional user experiences through a combination of user research, design, and prototyping.
The Financial Services team helps shape seamless, world-class experiences across Payments and Capital products. Success in this role means designing experiences that are: Integrated – Payments feel native across every surface and workflow; Invisible – Friction is eliminated; we get out of the user’s way; Instant – Funds are fast, accessible, and clearly accounted for. The ideal candidate is an experienced Product Designer who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with complex, interconnected problems at scale. You excel at identifying opportunities to deliver value and thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers and product managers to create exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Lead project work from a design perspective with autonomy and authority, facilitating design reviews and working sessions to help the teams deliver the best possible solutions
  • Leverage your UX expertise and deep understanding of design systems, UI design, and how micro-interactions can help users complete a task
  • Turn nebulous concepts into specific ideas that are useful and delightful product features
  • Design holistic systems, flows and interfaces that are simple, elegant, and user-friendly
  • Understand how to use the current design system best to ensure consistency across platforms and contribute to its continuous improvement
  • Draw insights from research and data, and know how to turn those insights into tangible solutions
  • Build relationships and advocate for the user when collaborating with cross-functional teams in product, engineering, and marketing.
  • Be a positive role model and culture carrier within the studio as well as an advocate for design within the Lightspeed organization.
