The Fulfilment team's mission is to make Grab the platform of choice for Driver Partners by supporting them efficiently on and off the road. Our design team is divided into several empowered teams focused on creating an efficient app experience, ensuring fair and transparent earnings, and maintaining a healthy supply pipeline. We focus on creating solutions that are simple and delightful for our Driver Partners to improve opportunities and efficiency to fulfil consumer orders without fail, rain or shine. Get to Know the Role We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer on the ScaledOps team (Market Intelligence). Collaborate across the region with product, engineering, data science, and analytics to develop the solutions that empower our internal teams to make better, data-driven decisions. You’ll be innovating our marketplace intelligence capabilities: Leverage human-centric thinking and data visualisation to impact how we observe, understand and scale the marketplace, including insight, driver-partner performance, operations automation, AI diagnostics, smart alerts, and forecasting – elevating the daily experience of our 40M+ customers and driver-partners across the region. This is an onsite role in Grab Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia office and reporting to Head of Design, Gfin, Geo & Fulfilment in Singapore. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform Ensure we build the right solutions - addressing value, usability, feasibility and viability, and any necessary trade-offs with minimal waste, while safeguarding goals Communicate and back design rationale effectively and convince senior stakeholders Drive collaboration across domains, functions and teams; facilitating their alignment and efficiencies by driving discussions, workshops and exploration Drive problem exploration, solution discovery and solution delivery across teams; displaying autonomy to work and navigate complexity independently Conduct user research together with the operations team to uncover and confirm the assumptions of your design Develop problem-framing approaches, establishing new starting points that lead to new kinds of solutions, not just execution, across teams Design simple solutions to complex, abstract problems; connecting the dots across multiple 'products' in an experience and unlocking new value Produce visual design that elevates the quality, consistency, and credibility of user experiences Qualifications What Essential Skills You Will Need Pre-requisite Requirement: Provide your design portfolio (at least 2 completed case studies in English for the past 2 years) that showcases your contributions, the impact of your projects, and provides clear context. Highlight your end-to-end workflow, detailing how you move from problem discovery to launch. The case studies should be relevant to ScaledOps (Market Intelligence) working areas: dashboard designs, internal tools, or B2B web portals. Strong empathy for users, with a genuine desire to solve their pain points. UX research: Experience conducting user research using diverse methods and translating findings into actionable product requirements or improvements Proven expertise in solving complex problems through delightful, impactful design solutions, working with ambiguity and tech constraints Excellent fundamentals in interaction and visual design, including creation of user flows, responsive design, design systems, and data visualisation Strong track record of iterative design, collaborating closely with product tech and business partners from inception through implementation Must be proficient and highly skilled in Figma and prototyping tools AI fluency: Understanding of UX interactions in LLM.
