Your key responsibilities:

  • Turn concepts into innovative products in order to give Arla a commercial advantage in close cooperation with markets
  • Drive product and process-related product development activities including feasibility studies towards supply chain, handling recipes and ingredients and recipe finalization
  • Plan, implement, evaluate and document experiments in collaboration with labs and production facilities
  • Support problem solving related to product and quality problems.
  • Focus on final application usage to ensure correct product functionality
  • Gain and use consumer insights and priorities time for creative ‘think out of the box’ activities
  • Challenge processes and practices identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

To be successful in this role, you are curious, open-minded, adaptable, and able to see things from a broader perspective. You display a strong sense of quality and passion for both products and your work, allowing you to plan, organize, and document your activities accordingly. Further, we hope you have:

  • A background in dairy, food technology, or food science with ingredient experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience from a similar position or a production environment
  • Solid knowledge of ingredients, their usage and functionality in product matrices – preferably in powde
