About the Opportunity You will have the opportunity to lead a team responsible for designing the industry's leading Crypto trading system, including Spot, Margin, Perpetuals, Futures, Options, and various risk control models such as simple account, single-currency margin, multi-currency margin, and portfolio margin. This system supports daily trading volumes of over ten billion USD for both retail and institutional clients. This position can be based in Singapore or Hong Kong. What You’ll Be Doing Responsible for the design and iteration of OKX’s trading system, including the match engine, order management system (OMS), margin check, risk calculation, liquidation, and other related modules and logic for both spot and derivatives. Handle risk control models suited to different risk preferences, including isolated margin, single-currency,multi-currency, and portfolio margin to enhance clients' capital efficiency and platform risk management. Set various trading and risk control parameters, including tick size, MMR tiering, and margin discount ratios. Keep an eye on industry competitors' trading system iterations and the advantages of traditional financial trading systems to continuously enhance the stability, latency, and risk control of the underlying systems. Monitor industry trends and user needs, and innovate at the underlying trading asset level to meet the demands of retail and institutional traders, in compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop the platform's risk control framework and system, monitoring potential risks through stress testing and automated monitoring. Lead the underlying trading system and risk control team to maintain their professional skills and knowledge at the forefront of the industry, ensuring OKX's leadership in trading systems. What We Look For In You Background in a Crypto exchange or traditional investment bank, with extensive experience in building trading systems for spot and derivatives. Degree in finance or computer science, with CFA/FRM credentials and a deep understanding of the derivatives market and trading rules. Extensive experience in building complex backend systems. Strong mathematical skills, clear logic, and an exceptional ability to learn independently. Extensive experience in building and managing teams, having managed global teams of more than 20 people. Experience working in overseas markets and multinational companies, with fluent English communication skills. Nice to Haves Background in quantitative trading.
