Description Position Summary Altair Data is seeking a results-driven Senior Product Manager to join our newly formed Solutions Delivery Group. This role is designed for a high-impact project leader who specializes in "the heavy lift"—managing complex, high-stakes projects that fall outside of standard operating procedures. Whether leading a 90-day custom client implementation or spearheading the launch of a new internal data product, you will be responsible for turning strategy into reality through disciplined execution and cross-functional leadership. Key Responsibilities Complex Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end execution of Altair’s most complex client projects (typically 30–90 day cycles) and internal product initiatives. Strategic Problem Solving: Act as a "business consultant" to identify project bottlenecks and engineer creative solutions to keep initiatives on track. Cross-Functional Orchestration: Serve as the central hub between Sales, Operations, Development, and Data Build teams to ensure technical specifications align with business objectives. Stakeholder Management: Provide high-touch communication to internal leadership and strategic client partners, ensuring absolute clarity on project milestones and risks. Process Architecture: Help define the workflows for the new Solutions Delivery Group, ensuring that complex projects can eventually be templated for scalability. Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify "surprises" in the project lifecycle and lead rapid remediation efforts to protect Altair’s reputation and delivery timelines. Requirements Qualifications 8+ Years of Experience: Proven track record in project/program management within a data-driven or technology environment. Complex Delivery Expertise: Demonstrated success in managing multi-phase programs that require deep integration between different departments. Agile Mindset: Ability to operate with urgency and flexibility in a fast-paced environment where project scopes may evolve. Technical Fluency: Comfortable discussing API solutions, data processing, and analytics with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. Tool Proficiency: Expertise in project management software (e.g., ClickUp, Microsoft Planner) to maintain rigorous documentation and schedules. Education/Certification: PMP or similar certification is highly preferred. What Success Looks Like Complex initiatives are delivered on time and within scope, serving as a "force multiplier" for company growth. The gap between a "sold" vision and a "delivered" product is seamlessly bridged with zero ambiguity. Internal stakeholders view the Solutions Delivery Group as the gold standard for execution and reliability.
