As a Senior Product Manager at Cerence, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the strategy, development, and delivery of cutting-edge AI-driven automotive technology solutions. Your responsibilities may include:
Product Strategy: Develop and refine product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and market trends. Define product positioning, target market segments, and differentiation strategies.
Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends. Gather insights from customers, stakeholders, and industry experts to inform product decisions.
Product Development: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and quality assurance to prioritize features, define requirements, and oversee the product development lifecycle. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
Feature Prioritization: Evaluate and prioritize features based on business impact, customer value, technical feasibility, and resource constraints. Make data-driven decisions and trade-offs to optimize product development efforts.
User Experience: Champion the user experience by advocating for intuitive design, usability, and accessibility principles. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Work closely with marketing, sales, and business development teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and sales enablement materials. Drive product launches and promotional activities to maximize product adoption and revenue growth.
Customer Engagement: Engage with customers, partners, and key stakeholders to gather feedback, validate product concepts, and identify opportunities for product improvement. Build strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor to customers.
Performance Monitoring: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product success and effectiveness. Monitor product performance, analyze data, and iterate on strategies to achieve business goals.
Product Evangelism: Serve as a subject matter expert internally and externally by presenting product vision, capabilities, and value proposition at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings. Drive thought leadership and contribute to the advancement of AI-driven automotive technology.
Team Leadership: Mentor and coach junior product managers, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
