Responsibilities

Verizon Business is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Connected Solutions team. As a key driver of our Connected Solutions product success, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of sensor-related products and services. You will ensure Verizon’s Connected Solutions remain competitive and drive revenue growth by working closely with business sponsors, technical teams, and customers to identify key pain points and collaboratively design and build solutions that delight the end-user and then partner with sales and operations to meet the product revenue targets.

  • Product Lifecycle Ownership: Lead all stages of the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring alignment with market demands and company goals.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and competitive landscapes, leveraging insights to inform product strategy and decisions.
  • Roadmap Definition & Execution: Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and other key teams to ensure seamless product development and successful launches.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform continuous improvement efforts.
  • Agile Product Development: Define MVPs, prioritize product backlogs, and manage strategic de-scoping to achieve rapid feedback cycles. Write user stories and create A/B testing backlogs for iterative product enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively and manage expectations with business sponsors, company executives, external partners, and customers.
  • Technology & Innovation: Possess a strong understanding of connected devices, networks, cloud/edge computing, and SaaS applications to inform product development. Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging technologies and industry trends, ensuring our products remain competitive and innovative.
  • AI/ML Commercialization: Identify opportunities to integrate AI/ML technologies into new and existing Connected solutions. Develop compelling business cases, outlining the value proposition, target market, revenue model, and ROI for AI/ML-powered products and services.
  • Partnership Development: Identify, structure, and execute vendor and strategic partnerships to enhance product offerings and address market needs.
  • Business Strategy: Define business models, pricing strategies, channel strategies, target segments, customer profiles, execution plans, and financial business cases for solutions and verticals.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Embrace a digital-first mindset to enhance the customer experience throughout the entire product lifecycle.
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling collateral, FAQs, white papers, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
